5K run/walk and 10K run
Get ready for the 47th Annual Fowl Fun Run, starting at Mount Vernon Christian School in Mount Vernon, WA! Choose between a 5K run/walk or a 10K run, both set on flat, low-traffic farm roads in scenic Skagit Valley. After the race, enjoy food, refreshments, and a chance to win a pumpkin pie. Festive costumes are highly encouraged—don’t miss the fun!

Free Kids’ Half-Mile Run: The half-mile kids’ run for those 8 years and under starts promptly at 9:15 a.m. This fun run is free, but children must be registered in person by 9:00 a.m.
Race day schedule:
8 am – 8:25 am: Volunteers set up
8:25 am – 9:30 am: Day of race registration (Not guaranteed a finishers medal)
8:25 am – 9:30 am: Check in for pre-registered participants
9:15 am: 1/2 mile kids’ run start
10 am: 5K & 10K start
10:05 am: Turkey begins the 10K
Noon: Both courses close
Day of Race Registration: Please arrive early if you plan to register on the morning of the race. Price increase $40 for 5k and $50 for 10k for day of race registration. Not guaranteed a finishers medal.
Day of Race Packet Pick-up: Pre-registered participants may pick up their bib numbers starting at 8:25 a.m. on race morning.
Food and Refreshments: Food, refreshments and awards will be available after the race.
Awards: Awards will be given to the male and female winners in both races.
Beat the Turkey! Tom Turkey will be starting the 10K five minutes after the gun. Finish the 10K ahead of him and receive a special award at the finish line!
Registration Entry Fees:
- 5K – $30.00
- 10K – $40.00
- Price increase $40 for 5k and $50 for 10k for day of race registration
- Pre-registration closes at 12:00pm on 11/10 at the bottom
- Youth ages 10 and under or 70 and older receive $10.00 off!
